I think &quot;mobile first&quot; is not necessarily the universal strategy, but it does facilitate a certain clarity and focus on the core message and interactions with customers. Given such clarity, it is sometimes easier to develop an integrated strategy.

Good article and I agree with many of your observations...although, as opposed to &quot;mobile first&quot; I think where many companies miss the boat is mobile as a complementary, alternative and integrated &quot;channel&quot; to whatever they have from a web perspective.  

We&#039;re saying and thinking the same thing...for example that a mobile app with one or two functions &quot;i.e. balances, store locator&quot; is feable and not meaningful to users and does not constitute a mobile strategy or differentiating experience.  

Looking forward to building a comprehensive mobile solution/strategy with you.  Keep up the good work.
